2. Jackie Parker Park

  • ADDRESS: 4540 – 50 Street, Edmonton
  • WHY WE LOVE IT: Jackie Parker Park was already home to the biggest playground in Edmonton before the 2025 expansion that saw the park add an inclusive play area. This part of the playground is entirely based in rubber and has both a Yalp Memo game and the Yalp Sona game picutures above.
  • FUN FACT: Jackie Parker has the first Yalp Sona in Edmonton, and the second Yalp Memo. The other Yalp Memo is located as Marquis Playground. We have a tutorial on how to play Yalp Memo games HERE!
Balwin Playground, also known as Piney's Playground, is home to the Edmonton Arts Council's 300th piece of public art!

3. Balwin Playground (Piney’s Playground)

  • ADDRESS: 12904 – 74 Street, Edmonton
  • WHY WE LOVE IT: This is Edmonton’s first playground that is also an art installation! The Edmonton Arts Council worked with artist AJA Louden to create Balwin Playground, a.k.a. Piney’s Playground! It’s as much fun to look at as it is to play in!
