Svend Hansen School

I think it’s our favourite trapeze! Zipline Spinners are a rare treat in Edmonton – and we’re big fans of the ones at Svend Hansen School. This playground also stands out for it’s cool climbers – there is an amazing climbable sculpture, a unique dome climber, and lots of climbing gear on the main structure.

This isn’t the most toddler friendly park – there is a tiny toddler structure with a smaller slide, but no toddler swings. (There are 2 regular swings, 1 tandem swing, and 1 tandem swing made up of a standard swing paired with an accessible swing.)

This playground is based in wood chips. There are a few benches on site, and there are no trees for shade. There is also a really great adult workout area with some of the highest monkey bars around! A nice sledding hill also sits to the west of the playground!
