Windsor Park Playground

Tucked off the hustle and bustle of 87 Avenue is a lovely little greenspace with a sweet little playground and toddler park. Windsor Park Playground is one the girls didn’t want to leave. There’s nothing out of the ordinary here – but there’s so much to make it fun! They loved the obstacle course layout of the big kid park – and the rope merry-go-round too! They spent just as much time in the toddler park, with its unique variety of climbers, tunnels, hopping stools and more.

This playground has a mix of ground cover – some wood chips, sand and rubber. There’s a separate sand play area in the toddler park. Between the two play spaces are a variety of swings – 6 standard, 1 baby, 1 accessible and 1 saucer. There are benches and picnic tables, including the most beautiful covered picnic area with a stunning piece of public art titled “Piece by Piece. Saving our Planet Together” by Sculptor Michele Mitchell.
