Wedgewood Heights Park

From the bright red fire truck, to the peaks of the tall green towers – and from the top of the tall rope merry-go-round to the depths of the digging sand pit, there’s fun to be found at Wedgewood Heights Park.

This playground is separated into 2 distinct areas. Up on the hill, based in rubber, sits the bigger kid area – a great obstacle playground with climbers and tall slides, plus the fire truck. Down the hill, with a tennis court, basketball area and covered picnic shelter in between, sits a toddler play space with the tall rope merry-go-round, a whimsical car and play house, a jet ski bouncer and the swings. (2 standard, 2 baby and 1 saucer). The upper playground is based in rubber while the lower playground is based mostly in sand.

This playground sits in a gorgeous green space and along a lovely trail system. Both the southern and eastern edges of the park offer access to the beautiful new Wedgewood Ravine trail. The new paved trail (completed in Fall 2022) has a full pedestrian lane on one side, and a split bicycle lane on the other! The trail connects Wedgewood Heights to Cameron Heights.
