Velma E Baker School
We love the butterfly, the Star Wars-y dinosaur-ish climber and all the obstacle course fun we find in the playground at Velma E Baker School. The girls spent most of their time on the climbers, the gymnastics bars and rings, the monkey bars, the teeter totter and the supernova circle. There are swings – 4 standard, 2 baby and, our favourite, the tire swing.
This park is well set back in a beautiful field and is based almost entirely in rubber, with one small sand pit. There are benches throughout.
