Uplands at Riverview Playground

We call it butterfly park, because of the giant butterfly decoration atop the yellow canopy, but you may know this one as the Uplands at Riverview Playground! It’s a brightly-coloured, unique and fun space with a lot of activity options.

There are the favourites – slides, swings (2 standard and 1 accessible) and monkey bars! The whimsical accessories – the dinosaur egg, tree-trunk steps and brightly coloured climbing poles! Even some of the more rare pieces of equipment – arm slider bars, and a strange blue contraption – is it a climber? Is it a slide? Who knows!

This playground is based in wood chips. The main structure is ramped, but the ramp isn’t connected to the concrete. There are picnic tables and benches here too.
