Trumpeter Natural Playground
What a beautiful place to play! Check out the Trumpeter Natural Playground, in the new Trumpeter neighbourhood in the far northwest part of Edmonton.
This playground offers two beautiful wooden structures – each has climbing options including a wall, webs and stairs. Both have sliding bars, and one has a regular slide while the other has a fire pole! There’s a spring-mounted rider, a platform spinner with handles, a balance beam and swings – 2 standard and 1 saucer. A cement sidewalk leads to a lovely common area in the centre of the park, where you’ll find tables and benches, including at least one with open space for a wheelchair, scooter or other mobility device to pull up.
This playground is based in wood chips. It’s so new that it doesn’t have an official name or google map tag, so the embedded map is to the convenience store across the street!
