St Mary School

My kids dubbed this “nature park” because of the butterfly, owl, log tunnel and giant climbing boulder. (But, like any good nature sanctuary, it also boasts an ice cream stand, of course!) The playground at St Mary School is one is definitely geared more to the bigger kids, with a nice selection of monkey bars and lots of climbers – but it also has a saucer swing and a small rope merry-go-round that includes seats! There’s also a giant climbing boulder with fossils to find, several slides, and an obstacle course with balance beams and hopping steps (including spring-mounted steps!) This playground is based in wood chips and there are benches at the perimeter.
