Space-aged Playground in Sylvan Lake

Sylvan Lake is always a favourite summer stop – now, in addition to the lake and the beach, there’s a new attraction to draw families to this small central-Alberta town – an incredible Space-Aged Playground! The jaw-dropping new Co-operators Play Zone and Spray Park at Pogadl Park in Sylvan Lake is as exciting to look at as it is to play on!
The triple tower main structure was the most popular feature of this space-aged playground, at least for our crew. Each tower has a unique central climbing system with a slide coming off each piece. The bridges between the towers are rope tunnels and within each tunnel are unique climbing pieces. This playground offers so much more than “just” the three giant towers – there are also monkey bars, sliders, spinners, a fish climber, a play house and little car, and a merry-go-round. For the swing fans, there are also a couple of options! (2 standard and 1 saucer).
The spray park includes a splash bucket, a variety of above-ground and in-ground sprayers, a boat, a water table area, and even 3 squishy pads set in the cement that squirt when you jump on them!
There is ample parking available and a bathroom-change building. The entire playground is fenced with a single entry/exit point. The spray park is based in concrete, the playground is based in wood chips and there is grass surrounding both. Scroll all the way down to view our video tour of this amazing, space-aged playground!
