South Summerside Playground
Sometimes the playground is the pulse of a neighbourhood. That was the case on the wonderful, warm night we visited this little playground. It doesn’t even have a name on Google maps, so we’ve dubbed it South Summerside Playground.
Families were out in for evening strolls, parents were chatting, big kids were pushing babies on swings, children were making up all sorts of games – it was clear this playground was the community gathering space. We love the two simple structures with climbers and slides, the tunneled climbing wall, the music area, and the knight theme with castle wall, and even a theatrical stage! This playground is based in wood chips and has benches nearby.
