After years of hard work by dedicated volunteer fundraisers, the new playground at Soraya Hafez School is now open! The playground features an amazing obstacle course layout set around a trio of climbable mountains! There are lots of options for climbing, monkeying and, of course, sliding.
The main structure is ramped with a Tippy Canoe bouncer that could be accessed by those using wheelchairs or mobility devices.
Accessory features here include a dome climber, a tall rope spinner and swings – there are 4 standard, 2 baby, 1 accessible and 1 saucer swing.
Huge thanks to my friend Rilla for capturing photos and video of the new playground for me. (I also included a couple that I snapped from behind the fences while the playground was still being built) I’ll update the page further when I’m back in town and can visit the playground for myself!
