Sheriff Robertson Park

“It looks too small.” It’s a statement one of my girls will make sometimes when we pass a park. I strongly believe there are no bad parks, so I usually suggest we just stop and check it out. “5 minutes” is the reply I usually get. This is Sheriff Robertson Park in Edmonton. Our “5 minutes” turned into 1.5 hours here – for 3 reasons:
-cool hopscotch painted on the rubber base.
-this park is home to the all-too-rare playground phenomenon – the Roller Slide!
-we dropped from the playground into Kinnaird Ravine, and discovered that the playground is very close to a cool art walk set up along the ravine trails!
The playground features separate toddler and big kid parks, 2 baby and 4 standard swings and a mix of sand and rubber base. There are benches and picnic tables too.
