Sedge Park
Playgrounds are getting cooler, right down to the little pocket parks that pop up in our neighbourhoods! The new Sedge Park playground in Sherwood Park’s Summerwood neighbourhood stands out for a couple of reasons – for one, it’s a woodchip park. (Sherwood Park has mainly sand-based parks). Second, it has a rare-but-popular parent/baby expression swing. And third, it has a great climber that’s a combination of rope and hard structure pieces, making it a great option for winter.
This playground also features a small main structure with a few climbers, slides and monkey bars. There are also two standard swings on the swing set.
