Rundle Park
It’s one of our city’s most beautiful parks – Rundle Park offers year round fun in forms of skating, sledding, skiing, cycling, tennis, golf, disc golf, and so much more! Bonus – it has two great playgrounds!
Each playground offers a small main play space, plus there are swings (regular and saucer), slides, spring riders, a climbing wall, a rope merry go round and more. There are swings here – 2 standard, 2 accessible, 2 baby swings and 2 saucer swings. We love the Ranger Stations, with their pretend stoves and lookout telescopes. Playground spaces are based in wood chips with a bit of sand and rubber base. There are tons of benches and picnic tables throughout the park.
There is a small dirt bike trail located between the two playgrounds. This playground also sits on the city’s larger multi-use trail system, making it a great place for cycling. In the winter, Rundle is a great location for sledding, and there is usually extensive skating ice too!
