Robina Baker School

There is a new (May 2024) playground at Robina Baker School in Devon and the massive double-arch climber is the star of the show!

The school’s new playground features a wide variety of rope features throughout, which offer excellent challenge to kids looking for more risky play. The giant climber is a really spectacular piece – it has two arches that are each full of rope plus a variety of straps for accessing different sections of the structure. My daughter and other kids were bounding on the straps, climbing the ropes and swinging from the metal.

In addition to the climbers, this playground features three slides, including a rare roller slide. Accessory pieces here include a wave merry-go-round, an umbrella spinner, and a little playhouse. There are no swings within the new play area, but there is a swing set across the school field to the east. The playground is based in wood chips.
