Tucked away in a little pocket of northeast Edmonton is Robert Brett Park.  It’s new playground, completed in 2024, is a lovely addition to the neighbourhood.  The understated brown playground equipment doesn’t look like much at first, but on closer inspection is packed with fun.  There are tons of climbers, zippy slides and a very unique 3-seat merry-go-round!

The entire playground is based in rubber and there are mature trees nearby for shade.  Painted cement sits just outside the play area, featuring hopscotch and four-square games. An accessible picnic table is also completed with a chess board.  The benches around the playground are matched with “Bench Fit” signs offering tips on how the benches can be used for exercise. There is also a basketball court a short distance from the playground.  The park space is complete with a small hill that likely makes a great little sledding hill in winter. All in all, Robert Brett Park is a beautiful pocket playground that meets just about every need.
