Robb’s Best Playground

To call this Robb’s “Best Playground” is a little unfair, because I’m pretty sure it’s Robb’s ONLY playground – but it’s a great one, to be sure!
Robb is a hamlet located about 50km southwest of Edson. We were taking a backcountry route home from Jasper when we stumbled upon it. And while this tiny community has only a handful of homes and even fewer businesses, it has a pretty incredible recreation area for residents!
Robb is home to one of the outstanding Pump Tracks and Playgrounds in Yellowhead County! There are two separate playground spaces here. They feature a great mix of slides, swings, climbers and obstacle course equipment. The playgrounds are based in wood chips.
In addition to the playground, Robb is home to the Coal Train Pump Track. (We’ve also visited the incredible pump tracks in Wildwood and Marlboro!) There are also indoor and outdoor arena spaces, a basketball court, and the most beautiful, massive wooden gazebo that I’ve ever seen at a playground!
