Riverdale Playground

Riverdale Playground is one for the “older-but-still-awesome” category – but it’s one that stands out in my memory for a few reasons. The first is the bright colours! Blue and purple with turquoise accents – it’s a great looking park! It also sits alongside a small skate park which was perfect for my little scooter riders. Lastly, it has a small sand play station that is set up just a little differently than many of the others we’ve come across at Edmonton Playgrounds, and the girls loved it and played at it for ages.

Thought small, this park ticks off most of the boxes for play – slides, climber, monkey bars. It has saucer swings and a small spray park with a cute dragon sprayer. There are mature trees, picnic tables and benches. The playground is based in sand and rubber tiles and the spray deck is based in concrete.
