Ritchie Park

Enjoy a bright and colourful Edmonton classic under a canopy of mature trees! Ritchie Park is a lovely spot in one of Edmonton’s storied communities.

We visited by bike on a hot day and the rainbow spray park was just the thing we needed to cool off! The girls love the spraying piano – though this one doesn’t play music. (We’ve found the ones at Donnan School Park and Queen Alexandra Playground still have sounds!)

The older-but-still-awesome playground features a main structure with small climbers, slides and monkey bars, two sets of swings (4 standard and 2 baby), a wooden climbing wall, and a classic slide! These are a rarity that we don’t come across too often anymore – just a ladder to a long metal slide.

Ritchie has lots of benches and picnic tables. There was a porta potty on-site at our time of visit – likely a summer feature.
