Rio Terrace Playground

Hidden gem? I would say so! This is Rio Terrace Playground – a wonderful community space with a playground, splash pad and more! The splash pad sits is the shade of mature trees. The flower spins, the butterflies wings are made of tipping buckets and there are ground sprayers everywhere that just might catch you off guard!

The playground here is nice too, with a big kid park and toddler park, both set mostly in sand. The main structure is ramped and has all the favourites – climbers, slides and moneky bars. There are accessories for days – spinners, a climbing wall, a rope merry-go-round, supernova circle and more. The toddler park is a smaller version of the same and has the cutest little chipmunk spring rider!

The splash park is based in concrete while playground is based in sand with just a little bit of rubber. There are swings (4 standard and 2 baby), lots of mature trees for shade and a covered picnic area.
