Queen Alexandra Playground

Could this be THE PERFECT summer park??? Fun playground, adorable toddler park, sweet spray park, lots of trees for shade, benches and tables with a covered gazebo, even a basketball court! Queen Alexandra Playground is a gem!

The spray park has a misting rainbow, a palm tree, tipping buckets, ground sprayers and a spray piano! (We couldn’t hear any music on our most recent visit, so I’m not sure if that feature is working!) The playground is super too! The main structure is ramped and there is a fair bit of rubber base around the park allowing for a lot of play for those that want to avoid sand. The front side of the park includes all the monkey bars, rings and climbers, while the back side has all the slides. (Including the orange tornado!) The toddler park has a bus, a little house and a cute mini structure with slide, climbing wall and monkey bar. There are spring riders and spinners too.

This playground has swings – 3 standard, 2 baby and 1 accessible. There are lots of benches, plus a few picnic tables, including some under a lovely gazebo. The park is bordered by mature trees for shade.
