Prince Charles Park
I love playgrounds set among giant mature trees – that’s what you’ll find at this older-but-still-awesome gem, Prince Charles Park. The playground is fun, with a ramped main structure, slides, climbers and monkey-bar-variations. The toddler area is adorable, with a house, car and teeter totter. There are swings (2 standard and 2 baby), a giant boulder for climbing and a rainbow arch climber.
The spray park features 3 big ring misters with giant eyes! There is a lovely gazebo, plenty of benches and picnic tables, and even a basketball area. There was a porta-potty on site the day we visited, but I don’t know if it’s available year-round. The base is mainly sand with some rubber tiles and wood chips.
