Pleasantview Playground
It’s out with the old and in with the new in Pleasantview! The new Pleasantview Playground is open, and it’s outstanding!
The girls are obsessed with the amazing obstacle course layout of the park, including great rope climbers, balance beams, hopping stools, gliders and monkey bars!
There are 2 main structures – one for the toddler set and one for the bigger kids. Both have slides and a variety of climbers. There are plenty of accessory features, including a cute little kids cabin, an off-road vehicle, and a musical area.
The old gazebo was preserves, as was the hexagonal bench surrounding a central tree. The bench has been given a colourful upgrade! Dino bones were preserved from the original park too and are now buried in a small sand pit!
Pleasantview is without a doubt one of the loveliest playground settings around. There are tennis/pickleball and multi-sport courts for community league members and the new playground equipment sits under a canopy of mature trees! All in all an outstanding upgrade to this wonderful neighbourhood.
