Parkview School

This playground is a showstopper for one huge (and I do mean HUGE) reason – it’s home to the first full-sized Victory Wall (also known as a warped wall) at a playground in Western Canada! My girls and I loved the victory wall! It has a textured base that made it run-able even in our boots. The shorter one was preferred by all of us – it has cutout handles that you can grab to help get yourself to the top. The taller of the two walls is definitely a challenge! At the top of each is a bell. The fire pole is the only way down from the wall.

This playground also features and impressive main structure with a rope climber that leads to two twisty slides. There’s a neat obstacles course, as well as monkey bars, turning wheels and a free-standing yellow spinner. The playground is based in wood chips, and sits alongside the old playground which is based in sand.

We know of one other playground in the area with a smaller warped wall – it’s St. Benedict School and Ecole Leduc Estates School in Leduc.
