Parkallen Ellingson Park

This one is an absolutely hub of the community – and it’s easy to see why. There’s much more than just a playground here! The on site sign calls this Ellingson Park, but so many people know it as Parkallen Park, so in an effort to cover all bases, I will refer to it as Parkallen Ellingson Park.

This park has a terrific playground plus a lovely toddler park with a play house and fire truck. There are bonus features like a climbing dome, sand table spinners, spring riders and our favourite set of arm sliders around. This playground offers swings – 2 baby swings, 3 standard swings, 2 saucer swings and 1 accessible swing. The base is a mix of sand and rubber.

Here you’ll also find a spray park, a basketball court and a full dirt pump track. In the winter, the field beyond the playground bowls down and makes for a superb sledding hill. There are plenty of tables and benches, including a covered picnic shelter.
