Northeast River Valley Park

Edmonton’s newest public park and, the Northeast River Valley Park, is a great place to explore nature – AND to play on a fun playground!

Northeast River Valley Park, which can be accessed northeast of Anthony Henday Drive near Raven Crest and The Quarry golf courses, offers rustic packed gravel trails, beautiful covered bridges, a lake for non-motorized watersports, an events centre, bathrooms and much more!

The playground has a ramped main structure set atop woodchips. It’s a fairly standard mix of climbers, slides, monkey bars and more. There are no swings. The playground is set on an island, and can be accessed via one of the covered bridges. There are bathroom buildings in the park, but none on the island. There are no trees for shade.

The new parkland is 190 acres – larger than Edmonton’s Hawrelak Park! Learn more about this park HERE.
