Muriel Martin School

The playground at Muriel Martin School is a unique mix of the old and the new in one large, and very fun play area!

The girls made a beeline to the roller slide – this rare feature is always a ton of fun! They also loved the great variety of climbers at this playground, including a very unique rope climber. The entire main structure in the newer part of the playground is an obstacle course of activity all set in rubber-base.

The older play area is based in sand and also features an obstacle course set up. Here you’ll find more climbers and slides, plus some classic teeter-totters!

The schoolyard offers basketball and tetherball courts. There are no swings at this school playground – however, across the field is a small neighbourhood playground that does have a swing set. There are several benches near the school park, and though the field is surrounded by trees, there isn’t a lot of shade at the playground itself.
