Montrose Playground
There’s a lot to love about Montrose Park – rubber base, dedicated toddler area, a big kid park set up in a perfect continuous circuit, the cutest little Royalty-themed spray park – but honestly my favourite thing is that the playground is built around a giant and gorgeous mature tree.
Montrose playground is a community hub – it seems to be always full of kids and families. For all the reasons I mentioned above, plus the ample green space and shady spots! Each playground is packed with the usual features, and this park offers extras like an umbrella spinner, horse riders, a teeter-totter and swings (4 standard, 2 baby). The base is all rubber, surrounded by grass, plus cement in the spray park, and there is a sand-based school park across the field.
