Maple Playground

Maple Playground in the community of Maple Crest is now open and it’s home to Edmonton’s biggest and best rope climber! The bright yellow ribbons of steel connected with metres and metres of red rope will challenge even the most confident climber. The climbing feature curls into nearly a full circle – and one end has a rubber mat included with the rope. You can run up it like a ramp, or slide down it like a slide!

Speaking of ramps this playground has a concrete ramp that connects to the ramped main structure of the park. The main structure is small but fun, with a c ouple of slides, climbers, monkey bars and drums. More musical features sit just beyond the main climber in the form of xylophone flowers.

This playground offers a tall rope merry-go-round, a selection of swings (2 standard, 1 saucer and 1 parent & baby expression swing) and gymnastics parallel bars. We love the adorable stepping stones in the shape of maple leaves.

This playground is ramped and also offers a communication board. Most of the features are based in wood chips, with a couple of sections of rubber base too.
