Lansdowne Playground
Zipline playground! But there’s so much more that we love at the Lansdowne Playground! This park features a big kid park, toddler park and spray park, set in a lovely space among mature trees. Nestled into those trees is an outstanding shale bike trail!
The park itself is a mi of wood and rubber base, with one small sand pit (with digger!) near the toddler playground. There are 4 standard swings, 2 baby swings, 1 accessible swing and 1 raft swing. There are also a merry-go-round, ladybug bouncer and several other spinners!
Bring the bikes when you head to the check out the fantastic Zipline playground at Landsdowne Community League! This great new park opened in the fall, but there was already snow on the ground, so this was our first chance to check out the newly-created shale bike trails set through the trees just off the playground. The park itself is a mix of wood chips and rubber base, and there’s a huge big kid area, a nice toddler space (with a tiny sand pit and digger), and a small splash park for summer. This playground includes 4 regular swings, 2 baby swings a chair swing and a raft swing, the aforementioned Zipline, a merry go round, lady bug bouncer, several spinners and more!
