Kernohan Park
I distinctly remember our first visit to Kernohan Park – I kept thinking how when this park opened (likely in a year that started with a 19, not a 20!) that it would have been THE COOLEST spot around. Brightly coloured wooden train, boat and sand play castle; expansive wooden playground with all the slides, climbers and rings; and one of the biggest climbing domes in Edmonton. There is still so much play value in this older-but-still-awesome park. Here you’ll find spring riders, 2-person and 4-person teeter-totters and swings (4 standard and 2 baby). There are benches and trees surrounding this playground, which is also used by kids at Anne Fitzgerald School.
