Julia Kiniski Park
Some playgrounds will forever be tied to a story. For our family, Julia Kiniski Park is known as the spot where one of the girls got a huge goose egg from a monkey bar stunt gone wrong! Despite the somewhat painful memory, it’s still a park we love – for so many reasons.
The tall tower main structure has a super slide, and a couple of cool climbers. The main structure makes for a fabulous obstacle course, with fun touches like hopping stools, a rope bridge, and the largest spinning wheels around. (the kind you grab and swing from, like monkey bars) A witches hat merry-go-round, a small but super bouncy surf board, and a seat spinner are among the accessories here. There are also swings – 4 standard, 2 baby and 1 tire swing! The playground is based in wood chips, with a little bit of rubber, and two sand pits.
