International Children’s Festival of the Arts

Our favourite festival – the one that kicks off summer festival season – is BACK! The International Children’s Festival of the Arts runs Friday, May 29 to Monday, June 1, 2026 in St. Albert. (New dates for 2026! In the past the festival has run Thursday through Sunday – but the 2026 Children’s Festival is running Friday through Monday!)
This year’s festival is going to be one for the ages with 7 incredible Feature Performances:
- St. Albert’s Children’s Theatre presents “Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr.”
- Back by popular demand, “Koo Koo”
- The high-energy urban circus “360 ALLSTARS”
- Magic and puppetry with “Goupil et Kosmao”
- “Yuki the Juggler” all the way from Japan
- Hip-hop, rap and soul with “Missy D”
- Storytelling and fairy magic with “Fizzlewit”

Tickets
Tickets for the festival go on sale on Wednesday, April 1, 2026! You don’t need a ticket to access the festival grounds, but tickets are required for performances, paid activities and Toddler Town.
There are some new ticket options for 2026! You can choose the 2 Performance Pass (Includes one ticket to two Feature Performances and unlimited admission to on-site activities all weekend); the 1 Performance Pass (Includes one ticket to one Feature Performance and unlimited admission to on-site activities all weekend) or the Activity-Only Pass (Includes unlimited admission to on-site activities all weekend)
