Holiday Fun at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton
Stave off winter break boredom, and turn up the excitement with tons of Holiday Fun at the Science Centre! TELUS World of Science – Edmonton will be open 9am-5pm every day of Winter Break. There are daily activities, special happenings and a wide variety of special seasonal science! Catch it all from December 20, 2025 through January 4, 2026!
Holiday Fun at the Science Centre
- Dinosawr Parx: Visit the Science Garage to help Boss Rexi build a huge cardboard dinosaur theme park! Daily 2pm-4pm
- Chromatography Snowflakes: Visit the Health Zone to learn about the mathematics behind the structure of a snowflake and craft your own! Daily, 2pm-3:30pm
- Gingerbread-flavoured Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream: Head to the Syncrude Science Stage each day at 3pm to enjoy a delicious treats made with the power of SCIENCE! Daily, 3pm
- Winter Science Storytime: Pop in to the Nature Exchange every afternoon for a winter-themed science books. Daily, 3:30pm-4pm
- Winter Discoveries at the Trading Desk: Head outside, collect something you’re curious about, do a little research and then trade your discoveries and knowledge for points to redeem on unique items at the Trading Desk in the Nature Exchange! Daily, 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm

- The Polar Express: Catch this holiday favourite on the massive screen in the IMAX Theatre! (until Dec 24)
- Laser Holiday Magic: Favourite holiday tunes are brought to life in this fun, festive laser show in the Zeidler Dome!
- Noon Year’s Eve: Ring in the new year at Noon on both Dec 31 and Jan 1!
- Jurassic World by Brickman: The current feature exhibition showcases the Jurassic movie franchise brought to life with LEGO! (extra ticket required.)
