Hodgson Park

Climb, climb, climb! From the awesome rope climber (we call it the rainbow) to the giant ribbon climbing wall, this is a playground that’s all about going UP! But wait! There’s more at Hodgson Park! The fire truck is a beauty, the main structure has 2 super slides and there’s an obstacle course packed with monkey bars, rings and more.

This playground has a very unique piece of equipment – it’s a slider with two separate hand-holds, and the girls were using both arms to work their way across the bars! It’s a very cool piece! Accessory pieces include a standing teeter-totter, a small toddler teeter-totter and spinners.

Hodgson is based in wood chips. It has a variety of benches and picnic tables, plus two covered gazebos. There are swings here – 2 standard and 2 baby. There’s a small hill for sledding and a skating rink in winter and the location sometimes has a porta-potty.
