Hearthstone Playground
***Summer 2024 update – Hearthstone playground has reopened with rubber base throughout the play area. Hearthstone Playground is also part of what is now known as Helen Lavender Park in Sherwood Park.***
We simply can’t resist a zipline playground! The new Hearthstone Playground (also known as Helen Lavender Park) on the outskirts of Sherwood Park offers a fun, fixed-track zipline and so much more!
We love all the climbing options on the cool double tower! The slides here are excellent – there are two straight-drop slides, and one tall curly slide. (I tried the curly slide and it was nice and smooth! Two thumbs up from me!) The girls loved the hanging rings and all the gymnastics bars. There are a few more accessories at this playground – a small spinner, and a small spring rider, plus a set of swings with two baby and two standards swings.
This playground is based in rubber. There is a large asphalt basketball court right beside the playground that could double as a great spot for skateboards or scooters.
