Griesbach RCAF Playground
The Griesbach RCAF Playground is a lovely little pocket playground in the Griesbach neighbourhood of Edmonton. The playground equipment sits beneath two bright poppies, and near a memorial plaque in honour of John McCrae, “In Flanders Fields” and the Poppy as a symbol of remembrance.
The playground offers two small main structures with slides, climbers and monkey bars. Accessory pieces at this playground include spinners and a saucer swing. There are benches and picnic tables surrounding the playground and the park is based in wood chips.
