Fort Saskatchewan Christian & Elementary Schools
It’s an embarrassment of riches! Two schools with a shared school yard and FOUR playgrounds between them! These are the playgrounds of Fort Saskatchewan Christian & Elementary Schools.
The tall tower and super slides stand out and caught our attention right away. That section of the park also features an infinity ribbon climber a merry-go-round and a tire swing. This park is based in wood chips.
Next to that is a very colourful playground. The cheery main structure has a lion face tunnel, a couple of slides, and several climbers. There’s a tall rope merry-go-round and several spinners. This playground is based in wood chips.
The original wooden playground is a classic. It’s based in sand with slides, climbers, balance features and – our favourite – the tire bridge!
East of the school building is the fourth park. Here you’d find climbers, slides and the funny-face basketball hoop.
The paved area around the school has a variety of painted ground games and would be perfect for scooters or skateboarders. At the far south end of the field you can find a FIFTH playground at Ecole Parc Elementaire. We also love that this group of four playgrounds is across the street from Miller’s Ice Cream, in the old train station!
