Floden Park

Edmonton’s train parks are as unique as they are plentiful! The cool blue train is the centrepiece of the toddler park at Floden Park in the Beverly Heights neighbourhood. The big kid park has a distinct circus vibe, with its bright red, yellow and blue colour scheme. There are climbers, slides, monkey bars, agility options and even cute photo op cutouts! This park has 2 baby swings, 2 standard swings, and is located very close to one of Edmonton’s River Valley swings, so venture down the trail to the southest to find that! This playground is based in sand and there are benches and picnic tables, plus mature trees for shade, all around.

Stroll down the paved trail east from Floden Park to (sometimes) find a River Valley Swing hanging from a large tree! The swing may look like it’s hanging over the valley, but there is a good amount of space around it. Still, this may not be the spot to visit if you have really small kids, or kids who wander off.
