Father Leduc School
This swing’s the thing at Father Leduc School in Leduc! It’s the first we’ve seen of its kind – the bottom is a saucer swing, but it has two layers of rings for climbing and is attached in the same pivoting style as a tire swing, so it doesn’t just swing, it spins and swirls too! My kids loved them and 90% of our time at this park was spent playing on the swings.
The playground also features a ship-style version of the Sway Fun inclusive glider, an infinity loop climber, two huge slides and tons of monkey bars and climbers. The playgrounds are based in wood chips and there is a full ramp to the boat. There are a few benches around the park too!
But wait – there’s more! Head to the south side of the school for the second great playground! This colourful gem has ANOTHER accessible glider, as well as a great main structure with monkey bars, climbing features and slides. There is a merry-go-round, but our favourite accessory is the red 2-person standing teeter-totter! My daughter and I had a blast playing together on this fun, uniuue playground feature.
