Elsinore Chambery Park

A postcard-perfect blue sky and calm seas – it was the ideal day to set sail for fun at this tropical-themed playground in north Edmonton! Elsinore-Chambery Park features great spaces for both big kids and toddlers. The toddler area has this cool boat, plus you’ll encounter several creatures here – a whale bouncer, and a hippo and an alligator too. There are a couple of gear contraptions, and there is a neat triangular finger game. The toddler park is rubber based, with a small offset sandpit.

An extensive ramp leads onto the big kid park. There are monkey bars, hanging arm sliders, turning wheels, climbers and a wide variety of slides! The cute huts and towering palm trees give the big kid park a tropical feel!

This playground offers several accessory pieces – spinners and swings! There are 4 standard swings, 2 toddler swings and 1 accessible swing. A bike trail sits in a small treed area to the north of the playground. There is a picnic shelter, as well as extra benches and picnic tables. This is a green shack playground, and on our most recent summer visit there was a porta potty on site. This playground is also steps away from the new playground at Ecole A la Decouverte.
