Michael Phair Park, 10124 – 104 Street

A rainbow explosion of dots on the walls of the building on either side of this park – plus polka dots on the ground for the ultimate game of twister!

The gorgeous garden-themed mural at Royal Gardens Community League features dandelion seeds for blowing, dragonfly wings for photos and a gorgeous collection of flowers!

We love running, dancing and playing line tag on this outstanding, immersive mural that fills a breezeway between businesses on Stony Plain Road!

The Creative Hive, 16819 – 111 Avenue

The Creative Hive features a few outstanding murals on the outside of their building, but this one is our favourite!

6 – Kinnaird Park art walk

Access at 82 Street & 111 Avenue

A great spot for a stroll year-round, the art walk adds to the experience in Kinnaird Park.

7 – Community Mural at Patricia Heights School

The sound barrier fence that runs the length of the schoolyard at Patricia Heights School is covered with colourful, fun and funky murals!

Pair it with a playground! You have to pass the playground to find the murals here – we suggest Patricia Heights School, of course!

8 – The Backyard

The building that stands to the east of The Backyard in downtown Edmonton is wrapped with a variety of beautiful and colourful murals. We love the funky cityscape above, the geometric shapes along the south, and the beautiful Giselle Denis wall on the west.

We love visiting Alberta Avenue for its festivals, playgrounds, public art and community spirit. The murals here are among our favourites!

10 – Garth Worthington School

Edmonton is home to a number of outstanding murals by Alixandra Jade Art & Design Co – we love this one at Garth Worthington School, as we had the chance to see the artist in action. She stopped to chat with us about the project and it was an experience we won’t forget!

Pair it with a playground! While Garth Worthington School doesn’t have a playground of its own yet, the outstanding Chappelle Community Playground at Donald R Getty School is a short drive away!
