1 – Confetti Wall
Michael Phair Park, 10124 – 104 Street
A rainbow explosion of dots on the walls of the building on either side of this park – plus polka dots on the ground for the ultimate game of twister!

2 – Royal Gardens Community League
4030 117 Street
The gorgeous garden-themed mural at Royal Gardens Community League features dandelion seeds for blowing, dragonfly wings for photos and a gorgeous collection of flowers!

Pair it with a playground! This community league offers a trio of playgrounds to visit – St Boniface School, Royal Gardens Playground, and Richard Secord School.

3 – Revolution Square Tunnel
15103 Stony Plain Road
We love running, dancing and playing line tag on this outstanding, immersive mural that fills a breezeway between businesses on Stony Plain Road!

Pair it with a playground! This location isn’t far from the fabulous Grovenor Park, which features some pretty cool murals on site!

4 – Fun Fruit Mural
10051 – 152 Street
Mimic the funny faces on the fruits and veggies and have fun with this bright and colourful mural. Bonus – this one is just steps away from the breezeway tunnel pictures above!

5 – Rainbow Rain mural
The Creative Hive, 16819 – 111 Avenue
The Creative Hive features a few outstanding murals on the outside of their building, but this one is our favourite!

Pair it with a playground! It’s an oldie but a goodie – we love Britannia-Youngstown Playground!

6 – Kinnaird Park art walk
Access at 82 Street & 111 Avenue
A great spot for a stroll year-round, the art walk adds to the experience in Kinnaird Park.

Pair it with a playground: Access the trails right at Sheriff Robertson Park. Bonus – it has a roller slide!

7 – Community Mural at Patricia Heights School
16216 – 78 Avenue
The sound barrier fence that runs the length of the schoolyard at Patricia Heights School is covered with colourful, fun and funky murals!

Pair it with a playground! You have to pass the playground to find the murals here – we suggest Patricia Heights School, of course!

8 – The Backyard
10004 – 103a Avenue
The building that stands to the east of The Backyard in downtown Edmonton is wrapped with a variety of beautiful and colourful murals. We love the funky cityscape above, the geometric shapes along the south, and the beautiful Giselle Denis wall on the west.

9 – Avenue Theatre Murals
9030 – 118 Avenue
We love visiting Alberta Avenue for its festivals, playgrounds, public art and community spirit. The murals here are among our favourites!

Pair it with a playground! A fantastic, all-rubber-base playground is the Alberta Avenue Playground, located at the community league building.

10 – Garth Worthington School

Edmonton is home to a number of outstanding murals by Alixandra Jade Art & Design Co – we love this one at Garth Worthington School, as we had the chance to see the artist in action. She stopped to chat with us about the project and it was an experience we won’t forget!

Pair it with a playground! While Garth Worthington School doesn’t have a playground of its own yet, the outstanding Chappelle Community Playground at Donald R Getty School is a short drive away!
