Ecole Gabrielle Roy
En Francais, s’il vous plait? The French vocabulary is a nice touch on this fun (and educational!) playground at Ecole Gabrielle Roy School in south Edmonton. The bookshelf stairs are one of the cutest features – but the highlights for us were all the spinning things! (rope merry-go-round, umbrella spinner and a supernova with a platform to hold inside!)
The toddler park has the cutest little clubhouse, and the big kid park is a fun circuit, that includes handy risers so little kids can reach the rings and monkey bars themselves! It also has a couple of super slides! This playgroundhas 2 saucer swings, 3 standard swings and 1 accessible swing. The base is a mix of rubber, sand and wood chips. There are benches and picnic tables around, and a great green space with lots of mature trees for shade.
