A new playground for a new school! (2025) Ecole Claudette et Denis Tardif welcomes students with a brand new playground! The small but mighty park offers a main structure with a few slides including a tall curly slide! Obstacle course kids will love the string of monkey bars and ropes leading to the giant Grand Strand climber, which is sure to be a popular feature! (Especially in winter! Gloved hands can still grip ropes!)
Accessory features at this playground include a couple of spinners and a rope-based saucer swing. There are new trees planted, but not much shade yet on the playground. Next to the park is a paved tarmac with basketball nets, and the school backs onto a lovely green space that is part of Sherwood Park’s trail system.
