The new community of Easton in Spruce Grove has added a second playground. (Fall 2026) Cheery bright green and blue feature prominently in the new park which has a huge slide tower with two big slides. The main structure also features a large rope climber, a set of monkey bars, and a variety of panel activities.
A toddler park offers a small slide and a unique climbing structure. Accessory features at this playground include a toddler imagination station, a quad teeter-totter (I dig the smiley faces!), two standard swings and one parent & baby swing.
The star of the show at this playground is the spinning bucket merry-go-round! My girls loved the 3 spinning buckets that sit on an angled disc that also spins! The double-spinning feature is unique to the Edmonton-area as we haven’t seen this feature yet at any other playground. (As of Fall 2026)
This playground is based in wood chips with a paved trail leading to a cement pad in the centre of the park. There are no trees for shade. At time of writing there is no seating, but I understand that some is planned for this park and could be installed soon.
