David Thomas King School
We love the playgrounds with the one-offs – those unique pieces of equipment that you can’t find anywhere else. At David Thomas King School that piece of equipment is called PlayStax. If you’ve been following for a while, you’ll know that this is one of our favourite parks – and for good reason! The PlayStax climber alone can occupy the girls for ages! (They call it the “peekaboo shelves” and make up all kinds of adventures about it being their apartment.)
There’s also a fantastic toddler park here, plus a zipline, merry go round, spinners and swings! (6 standard, 2 baby and 1 raft swing) This playground is based in wood chips, with a small sand pit, offers plenty of benches, basketball nets near the school and even a full dirt pump track!
