2026 UPDATE: Phase 2 of playground replacement at Clara Tyner School is now complete – and WOW, talk about a glow-up!
The main structure has two big slides and lots of fun and challenging ways to climb up to them! There is a 1/4 dome climber with an obstacle course full of balance and climbing challenges extending through the park. Accessory features here include a spinner, a double-jet-ski bouncer and a number of sensory panels – including gears, push-in panels and musical equipment. Swings at this playground include 4 standard swings and 2 rope saucer swings.
My original post from 2021:
From the turquoise tree stumps to the super-spinny rope merry-go-round, there’s a ton of fun packed into the small-but-cool playground at Clara Tyner School. We love all the climbing, monkeying and agility options on the newer part of this school park. Parts of the older park remain – including the swings. We loved the little extras at this playground – including an extensive paved area with lots of ground games (it’s very smooth and would be great for scooters, skateboards and bikes too!) and two covered picnic tables with checkerboard and tic-tac-toe games painted right on top! (We played pine cones vs sticks.) This playground is based in wood chips.
