Central McDougall

They don’t have to be new to be outstanding! This is Central McDougall, an older-but-still-awesome medieval-themed playground tucked into a lovely, mature neighbourhood in central Edmonton.

Both the massive main structure and the toddler park carry the castle theme, which offers so many opportunities for imaginative play, right down to the “jail” bars on the windows at the bottom of the tower! This playground has climbers, slides, monkey bars, sliders, a teeter-totter, 3 jet ski bouncers, and more. There are swings (4 big kid, 2 baby and 1 tire swing!), a spray park, ample benches and picnic tables including a beautiful gazebo. The playground is based in sand and in the heart of a huge green space.
