Centennial Park

The roof may say Centennial Park, but in our family this has always been ‘Baseball Diamond Park”, for its location at Sherwood Park’s Centennial fields. This small but mighty park features slides, swings (3 standard, 1 baby), climbers, and a digger, and what it may lack in size, it makes up for in location! The playground is right along a great trail system that offers easy access to the baseball diamonds, soccer fields and even Millennium Place, and it’s outdoor skate park, less than a kilometre away. There are tons of great trees for climbing and a new man-made pond to the north of the site – plus picnic tables and cook stoves are scattered throughout making this an ideal place for a quiet picnic! There is an outhouse building that is open year round. The embedded google map takes you to the Picnic Shelter which is directly beside the playground.
