Broadmoor Lake Park
It may be the longest slide in the Edmonton area – but the super slide isn’t the only reason to visit Broadmoor Lake Park in Sherwood Park.
Broadmoor Lake is truly a Sherwood Park gem! Here you’ll find a huge main structure with 3 more big slides, plus monkey bars, climbers and even a unique roller ramp. (think treadmill made up of tiny wheels!) There’s also a pirate ship, a couple of natural play areas, including a slide carves into a hill, a massive spray park (with another ship – and slides!)
This playground has a large swing area with 4 standard, 3 baby, 1 accessible swing and 2 saucer swings. There is also a separate sand pit with diggers, and low, hammock-style swings.
Enjoy benches, shaded picnic tables, and the trail system around Broadmoor Lake too! In the winter, the adjacent sports field floods a skating track. Most of the time, washrooms can be accessed in the nearby arena or swimming pool.
